TeleGroup Belgrade and Telekom Srbija successfully promoted IP CENTREX service on TELFOR 2009

Same as every year, TeleGroup participated on TELFOR this year as well where as system integrator, together with national operator Telekom Srbija, we promoted the attractive IP CENTREX service which provides the local market with a faster entry to the world of IP telephony and modern communications.

Besides the successful demonstration of this service for the medias, held on the 24th of November on the TeleGroup booth, day after the formal opening of the 17th annual telecommunication forum, TeleGroup and Telekom Srbija held a joint technical presentation in the overcrowded "Japanese salon" under the title: "Triple play for all users over various technologies".

Presented were the technological aspects of the IP Centrex service and TeleGroup's technological platform for connecting IP Centrex users. This platform includes network gear of companies AudioCodes from Israel and Mediatrix from Canada which are worldwide leaders in the area of development and integration of VoIP technologies. TeleGroup has tested system solutions in the local network and, as a local partner with active presence in the field of development and introduction of services based on VoIP technologies, adapted these to suit the local market. Based on the above mentioned activities, there has been an agreement between companies TeleGroup and Telekom Srbija about the delivery of the first contigent of VoIP media gateway devices whose integration with Ericsson platform allows Telekom Srbija to offer local users the commercially and technologically attractive IP Centrex service.

Also, EMX solution of a Slovenian company IPS was presented, which allows broadband services to those users who don't have their own telephony pair.

TeleGroup has demonstrated Triple Play service of Telekom Srbija on its stand during the entire length of the forum. This service lets the users to use high speed internet in their homes as well as IP TV of highest quality and new type of IP telephony which will bring significant savings to both the private and the corporate users, especially in the international traffic.

What is IP Centrex?

It is a new generation of telecommunication services based on Ericsson IMS multimedia telephony with which Telekom Srbija, using TeleGroup technical platform for access devices, offers end users voice and video communication using a unified IP network.
