Last Tuesday, the National Academy for Public Administration (NAJU), with the support of international organizations USAID and OEBS, organized a panel discussion under the name of “The benefits of e-learning”, for the unveiling of their new platform for distance learning.
The new LMS (Learning Management System) platform offers government employees an opportunity to receive virtual training and acquire new skills in the area of general administrative procedure as well as inspection.
Momir Đekić, digital transformation consultant, spoke at the panel on behalf of TeleGroup. He pointed out how employers are beginning to appreciate informal education more than ever, and how knowledge today is often gained through the use of online learning platforms. These platforms unlock new ways to learn and acquire skills, says Momir.
“The only resource that’ll truly be endangered in the future is the human resource, and by investing in knowledge acquisition through new technologies, entire societies gain clear and sustainable benefits. Different ways of acquiring new skills and knowledge must be available to everyone”
Within the Academy for Digital Transformation, TeleGroup, with the help of students of University of Belgrade, aspires to contribute to the enrichment of knowledge for the new generation, to which the world belongs, finished Momir.
The event was followed by 80 audience members live, as well as over live-stream, with panelists from various government agencies, UNDP program and experts in the area of administrative procedure and inspection.
The implementation of this technology represents an excellent showcase of how modern technologies in the public sector can improve the quality of government services, and it sets a foundation for further employee development.
The panel was held in the new NAJU training center, which was opened earlier this year by the Prime minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić.
