As part of our mission to enhance the region’s energy infrastructure and contribute to the development of smart grids, we have implemented a solution based on NOJA Power OSM27 reclosers with RC-10 controllers within the power distribution system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Our goal was to increase the reliability and efficiency of the network, enable faster fault detection and isolation, and thereby reduce outages and improve key performance indicators such as SAIDI and SAIFI indices. As a result, end users now enjoy a more stable and secure electricity supply.

During the project implementation, the reliability and ease of use of NOJA Power reclosers played a key role, along with their simple maintenance and flexibility for integration into existing SCADA systems.

NOJA Power provided full technical and educational support — from operator training to documentation preparation in the local language — which further contributed to the successful implementation and long-term stability of the system.

This project represents an important step forward in the modernization of the power sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina and supports national goals related to reducing the use of SF₆ gases, developing smart grids, and integrating renewable energy sources.
