TeleGroup at EV DAYS 2025: Innovations for smart cities and a secure EV ecosystem
Two days of inspiring discussions at TeleGroup@EV DAYS 2025 highlighted how smart cities and cybersecurity are essential for the future we are already living.
The conference featured two panels that sparked important discussions on technologies shaping urban life and the security of electric vehicles:
Panel 1 – "TeleGroup: Smart Cities in Practice"
The discussion focused on how the latest technologies are shaping the future of urban life. Key trends were explored, including IoT infrastructure, artificial intelligence, micromobility, electrified transport, and 5G networks, which together lay the foundation for connected and sustainable cities. Special attention was given to the evolution of urban mobility—from flexible “last-mile” solutions to the integration of Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology and autonomous vehicles, contributing to a safer, greener, and more efficient urban ecosystem.
The discussion was moderated by Miloš Petković, Project Manager at TeleGroup, with panelists:
Dejan Veličković, Head of Traffic Management Sector, City of Belgrade Secretariat for Traffic
Vesna Vlahović, CEO, Yunex Traffic
Borko Crnogorac, Advisor for B2B Digital Ecosystem Development, Telekom Srbija
The panel demonstrated that smart cities are not just a vision of the future—they are already being shaped by innovations that enable easier travel, reduced congestion, and improved urban life quality.
Panel 2 – "TeleGroup: Cyber Threats in the EV Ecosystem"
The second panel addressed a key topic in today’s digitalized world of electric vehicles: EV ecosystem security. Modern EVs are no longer just transportation tools—they are sophisticated, connected systems exchanging real-time data, relying on cloud services, and interacting with surrounding infrastructure. This connectivity, while offering enormous mobility and sustainability benefits, also opens the door to complex cyber threats that can endanger users, charging networks, and even national security.
The discussion was moderated by Aleksandar Vratonjić Gligorijević, CMO of TeleGroup, with panelists:
Miroslav Petrović, CEO, ITS Serbia
Dragan Novaković, Security Solution Engineer, Cisco
Ivan Mladenović, Partner Sales Manager, Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd.
Dr Velimir Ćirović, Head of the Department, Putevi Srbije
The panel explored potential vulnerabilities in the EV ecosystem—from hardware systems to cloud platforms—as well as key strategies to ensure trust, security, and innovation in the era of hyper-connectivity.
Once again, it was confirmed that true breakthroughs happen when industry, government, and academia work together, and TeleGroup continues to lead innovations shaping the future of smart cities and secure electric mobility.
