From May 25 to 27, the National Competition of Student Companies was held in Belgrade organized by the non-governmental organization Dostignuća mladih, which for years has been gathering high school students from all over Serbia with the aim of developing an entrepreneurial spirit and testing their business ideas in real conditions.

TeleGroup, a long-term partner of this initiative, also contributed this year as a member of the jury, specifically in the category of the best application of information and communication technologies. Our company was represented by Nikolina Danilović and Nina Jakovljević, who had the opportunity to see firsthand how students think about innovation and technology as an integral part of the business model.

In the competition of numerous creative and elaborate solutions, we chose the UK Infinite Green team from Varvarin High School as the winning company in the mentioned category. Their idea involves the creation of a hydro turbine of an original design that is installed in gutter systems and uses rainwater to produce electricity. Ecological, innovative and technologically precise - exactly how modern business should look.

Student companies have shown that today's young people are already thinking market-wise, technologically aware and with an increasingly pronounced awareness of sustainability as a business criterion.
