Humanitarian Basketball Tournament "Aj ti za 3" – Supporting Children and Youth Organized by "SOS Children's Villages Serbia"

In the Comtrade company complex, on Saturday, December 2, a humanitarian basketball tournament titled "Aj ti for 3" was held, organized by "SOS Children's Villages Serbia" and supported by Comtrade. Alongside TeleGroup, this event brought together 15 additional companies that competed to support the humanitarian initiative and contribute to the work of "SOS Children's Villages Serbia."

The tournament was symbolically named "Aj ti za 3" to show support for children, youth, and families at risk, whom the organization "SOS Children's Villages Serbia" has been assisting for nearly two decades. The Director of the Fundraising and Communications Department at the organization, Ivana Ignjatov, emphasized the importance of organizing such events and thanked all participating companies for their involvement, which aids in the realization of humanitarian actions.

The tournament saw participants from various generations, from the youngest to the oldest competitors. We are especially proud of our colleague, Dragan Žikić, the oldest participant in the tournament, who, at 64 years old, competed with the same enthusiasm and energy as the younger players. Žikić highlighted the importance of companies participating in such humanitarian actions and organizing sports events that encourage young people to nurture a sports spirit and actively engage in sports.

In addition to the corporate teams, representatives from the "Strong Youth" Career Center, part of the "SOS Children's Villages Serbia" organization, also competed in the tournament. This center helps young people from vulnerable groups find employment, pursue additional education, and gain economic independence. During an exhibition match, the youth had the opportunity to showcase their sports skills, and one of the special guests was basketball player Boriša Simanić, who supported this humanitarian initiative.

Aside from the competitive segment, an exhibition match was organized for the youth from the "Strong Youth" Career Center, giving them the chance to meet with representatives from the companies supporting this initiative. This interaction allowed the youth to learn more about various fields of work and ask questions about their interests.

"SOS Children's Villages Serbia" is a humanitarian organization that provides support to children and young people without parental care and to those at risk of being separated from their families.
